Message from the Chairman
Pure Gold Jewellers is the realization of a dream and the fulfilment of a vision: to create a brand that consistently delights the customer with excellence and innovation. I am Firoz Merchant, Chairman and Founder of Pure Gold Jewellers. It all began in 1989 when my idea took shape as the first Pure Gold Jewellers store.

With over 2 decades in the market, Pure Gold Jewellers has matured over the years with more than 125 stores in the Middle East and Asia, along with 2 manufacturing factories in India and 1 in China. We are also in the process of opening further 450 stores worldwide. By combining the latest design, extensive retail experience, and a range of innovative concepts, today Pure Gold Jewellers has developed as a leading jeweller in Middle East & Asia.
Pure Gold Jewellers currently operates as the exclusive and sole retailer for gold and diamond jewellery at several Duty Free locations across the Middle East & Asia, including all terminals at Abu Dhabi Duty Free, Kuwait Duty Free, Muscat Duty Free, Jordan Duty Free, Sri Lanka Duty Free and is also a valued supplier at Dubai Duty Free. This is in line with our vision of becoming the leading jeweller in travel retail sector in the Middle East, Asia & Africa, we aim to open over 25 duty free locations across the world within a short span of time. We are currently also in talks with Egypt, Malaysia, Indonesia and Maldives Duty Free, to name a few
The core expertise of Pure Gold Jewellers has always been to provide luxury products at affordable prices with world-class service. Under the able leadership of Mr. Amran Iqbal, Managing Director of La Moda we have recently added a new venture into a new space – the luxury sunwear space. La Moda Sunglasses is a retail chain of boutique stores, dedicated to luxury sunglasses, offering a wide selection of international brands under one roof. La Moda Sunglasses was established in mid 2008 and in a short time span has 20 stores operational across the UAE, Oman, Qatar. With the expertise and contribution of Mr. Amran Iqbal, we are now in process of opening more than 100 stores in the near future. Ferrari, Ray Ban, Emporio Armani, Chopard, Christian Dior, Carrera and Gucci are only some of the leading names that represent the international standing of the La Moda Sunglasses experience.
Our commitment ensures that the legacy of Pure Gold Group continues to grow and achieve unprecedented success. Today, it enjoys the status of a leading company in the Middle East, Asia & Africa. Yes we have come a long way, but for us, the journey has just begun.
